Hey Everyone! I thought today would be a great day to talk about Shakeology because it’s always a good idea to start off the week on the right foot, and one way to do that is with Shakeology! I also had an amazing PSL inspired shake to start off this morning following my intense Total Body Cardio Fix workout, which I thought was another great reason to write about it.

Shakeology is a protein powder, but it’s different than other protein powders because it’s your daily intake of dense nutrition. What does that mean exactly? I don’t want to explain it in scientific terms, so it basically means that it has everything you need to fuel your body with in one substance. Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, super foods, etc. etc. You’re giving your body everything it could possibly want and need in one great product. Shakeology is great because not only is it dense nutrition, but it tastes delicious and fills you up for a long time so you can work efficiently and effectively without thinking about how hungry you are. There are multiple different flavors, including chocolate, vanilla, and cafe latte. A popular product right now is the Barista Pack, which contains packets of the 3 aforementioned flavors. My personal favorite is chocolate, but I also really enjoy the vanilla because you can throw all kinds of fruit in there and make it like a fresh fruit smoothie. I’ve included some of my favorite recipes below, along with pictures (all recipes are blended with ice and honey) (Clockwise from top left corner):

Mixed berry:

  • Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries (1-2 cups)
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup nonfat milk (any milk can be substituted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Vanilla Shakeology

Strawberry banana:

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Vanilla Shakeology

Vanilla Latte and Mocha:

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 8 oz unsweetened brewed coffee (or Cafe Latte Shakeology)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or Vanilla Shakeology) or 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk

Chocolate Banana Peanut butter (bottom right):

  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Chocolate Shakeology
  • 2-3 tsp peanut butter

Pumpkin Spice Latte:

  • 1 cup pumpkin or pumpkin puree
  • 8 oz unsweetened brewed coffee (or Cafe Latte Shakeology)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or Vanilla Shakeology)

Tropical Paradise (not pictured):

  • 1/2 cup mango
  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1 small banana
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut or 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup nonfat milk
  • Vanilla Shakeology

These are some of my favorite recipes! I draw my inspiration for these from popular Starbucks drinks, my favorite desserts, or whatever I happen to have in the fridge.
