This is the last post of the December Scripture Challenge that I have been doing! I hope you have all enjoyed my thoughts on this month’s passages and will enjoy the reflection on these final 3 days. Yesterday, I posted my January Scripture Challenge; I selected all of the passages on my own and created it from scratch, so I hope you like it! Please let me know, if you do it, what you think. Enjoy my thoughts on days 29-31 of the December Scripture Challenge, incorporate scripture into your happy and healthy adventure, and Happy New Year’s Eve! 🙂 ❤
December 29: James 1:16-18
Everything we receive and have in our lives, especially the good things, can be attributed to God. He gives us everything we have on this earth. Your family, your health, your occupation; He gives you all of that and so much more. He also provides us with His word and teachings, which is also a blessing in that we can learn so much from what He gives us and shares with us in the Bible.
December 30: Titus 3:3-7
We have all had our bad moments, and this passage acknowledges that we all aren’t perfect. We don’t listen, we lie, we give into pleasure and lust, we are sometimes angry and jealous, and feel disdain. This is normal. However, we can learn to be kind and love everyone because God instills kindness and love in us and onto us. He cleanses us of our sins and misgivings if we attend confession and pray regularly.
December 31: Psalm 107:1-2
“O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good; for his love endureth forever.” We should be thankful for God that He watches over us and provides us with everything we have. He will always forgive and love us. He will speak to all peoples around the world because that is just how powerful He is. Remember God’s goodness in everything that you see and have.
