Here are today’s readings from mass:
If you will, you can keep the commandments, and to act faithfully is a matter of your own choice. He has placed before you fire and water: stretch out your hand for whichever you wish. Before a man are life and death, and whichever he chooses will be given to him. For great is the wisdom of the Lord; he is mighty in power and sees everything; his eyes are on those who fear him, and he knows every deed of man. He has not commanded any one to be ungodly, and he has not given any one permission to sin.
1 Corinthians 2:6-10
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by this Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
*Because this is a much longer passage (20 lines), I’m only going to provide the name and lines of the passage, and a few images of quotes from the passage that I believe are important.
Remember that scripture and faith have the ability to be incredibly impactful on your life, if you truly believe. The Bible and Christianity have had an integral part in my happy and healthy adventure, and I hope they they will for yours too. 🙂 ❤
