Daring Greatly: Part 2

Part 2: Debunking the Vulnerability Myths

Here’s my notes on part 2-enjoy this post and your happy and healthy adventure! 😊❤️

  • Myth #1: Vulnerability=weakness
  • Vulnerability is the CORE of all EMOTIONS
  • Emotions give MEANING to life
  • If we want CLARITY in PURPOSE or deeper meaning in our SPIRITUAL lives, vulnerability is the path
  • Vulnerability is truth and courage
  • Vulnerability is a 2 way street
  • Vulnerability prayer: “Give me the courage to show up and be myself”
  • Myth #2: I don’t do vulnerability
  • LIFE IS VULNERABLE
  • When we try to avoid vulnerability, we engage in activities and behaviors that don’t reflect who we want to be
  • Myth #3: Vulnerability is letting it all hang out
  • Vulnerability is based on mutuality and requires BOUNDARIES and trust
  • Trust is built in small moments
  • Disengagement is the biggest betrayal to trust
  • Actions speak louder than words
  • Until we can receive with an open heart, we can’t give with an open heart
